Ronaldo vs Messi

It’s that time of the year again when all of Europe(and most of the world) comes to a standstill as the continent’s biggest football match, the Champions League Final, takes place in Rome on Wednesday evening(27 May). It has been billed as the the dream final between two of the best footballing sides in Europe as English Premier League Champions Manchester United take on La Liga Champions Barcelona. This is our preview of Wednesday night’s final.

Key Players

Very difficult to say one or two becoz everyone is a star in both teams.

Manutd: C Ronald, Rooney, Carrik/O’shea

Barca: Messi, Xavi, Andres Iniesta

My personal feeling is that, the chances for ManU depends on how well they can control Xabi and Iniesta and for Barca how they handle Rooney and Carrik/Oshea pair.

for Man Utd: Since Anderson is playing in midfield, he should be careful to not to shoot like does always…..pass the ball.  Again, i put Berba in center forward postion to distribute the ball to Rooney and Ronaldo. I believe he is the one in ManU team who can control the game.

For Barca: As everyone says the defence is a bit week but that will be neuatralized by their midfiled. but they should be ready for united’s counter attacks. Chelsea did a good job in contolling Messi and united may also go with simillar style. So Xabi and Iniesta will be the key.

If united has edge in defence, barca has edge in Attack………so should be a cracking game of foorball.
